We are very proud to announce the Japanese pianist Hiromi as the first act of this year’s tour in Germany. Pianist and composer Hiromi Uehara, whose passionate and incendiary keyboard work has been a shining light on the jazz landscape since her 2003 debut, believes that the voice that never speaks can sometimes be the most powerful of all. We are delighted to introduce you to this extraordinary talent.
Today, the German program of Night of the Proms was officially presented to the press. At the press conference, all eyes were on Anastacia and Mick Hucknall. In November and December, both artists along with Jupiter Jones, Naturally 7, Remy van Kesteren, John Miles, Il Novecento conducted by Robert Groslot and the Electric Band will celebrate classical and pop music in twelve German cities.

Night of the Proms is pleased to announce that Iconic Motown legends The Jacksons will perform in Antwerp and Rotterdam this coming November, sharing the unforgettable songs of The Jackson 5, The Jacksons, and a tribute to their brother Michael Jackson.
These European dates are part of a worldwide Jacksons tour that kicks of this Summer in the United States. The Jacksons tour will feature founding members Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito.
With their infectious brand of funky pop-soul and sunny upbeat material, The Jacksons emerged as one of the biggest pop phenomena of the 1970s. Creating some of the most vibrant pop/R&B of their era, The Jacksons remain an important centerpiece of pop culture today. Along with their immense catalogue of classic hits, The Jacksons have also been honored in the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Sarah Dawn Finer was added to the line-up for the Swedish Night of the Proms. Besides penning three successful albums and a series of hits, she also acted in several films, made TV appearances and starred in various musicals. In October, she is releasing her new album, called ‘Sanningen Kommer Om Natten’, which will be preceded by the single ’Nu Vet Du Hur Det Känns’ coming out on the 13th of August.
The Night of the Proms concerts in Sweden will take place on the 27th, 28th and 29th of September. Sarah Dawn Finer will be joined on stage by Art Garfunkel, Anastacia, John Miles, Tony Henry, Mans Zelmerlöv and Il Novecento.
Anastacia and Naturally 7 will be joined on stage by Flemish world-class talent Ozark Henry and Dutch harpist Remy van Kesteren. Night of the Proms will again be a surprising, swinging and varied journey through centuries of music history.
On May 3rd, ‘Mister Proms’ John Miles, our Electric Band and German band Stanfour, guest of the Aida Night of the Proms 2011, will perform a unique set with various songs on board of the brand new AIDAmar, a new cruise ship that is part of the AIDA fleet. AIDA, highly appreciated partner and title sponsor of Night of the Proms in Germany, invited its club members for the maiden voyage of the AIDAmar from Emden to Hamburg. The ship will be baptized in Hamburg on Saturday, May 12th, which is also the 823rd ‘harbour birthday’ of the city. Four AIDA ships will be there and more than 1,5 million guests are expected to come and watch the ceremony and fireworks. The AIDA guests will be invited on two smaller vessels, one of which will have John Miles and band on board, while Stanfour will be performing on the other.
Naturally 7 will be playing on Night of the Proms in Antwerp (Belgium) and Rotterdam (The Netherlands) this year.
Night of the Proms visits Sweden this year! Art Garfunkel, Anastacia, Tony Henry, John Miles, Il Novecento, Robert Groslot and the Electric Band will be playing at the ‘Ericsson Globe Arena’ in Stockholm on Thursday September 27, ‘Scandinavium’ in Gothenburg on Friday September 28 and the ‘Malmo Arena’ in Malmo on Saturday September 29.
